Work for us.

Why work for us?

St Bede’s is a school that is proud of its traditions and Catholic values. Catholic Education offers a unique opportunity to place the teachings of the church at the forefront of our work and to focus on the education of the whole child.

We are a school that does the right thing for the right reason; we strongly believe in God’s interest in individuals and the belief that we can all enter into personal relationships with God.

We are proud to be part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, which is made up of 48 schools in total. As one of the five secondary schools in the Trust we value the importance of collaboration and view it as a tool to support school improvement for all.

Community is something that we place great emphasis on. There are many different things that we, as a community, want from our school: we want our children to be successful academically; we want them to develop good moral attitudes; indeed, we want them to fulfil their potential in many different ways.

Aiming to be the best we can be in all aspects of our work, St Bede’s is a challenging, supportive and welcoming environment to learn and to work; it is a hugely rewarding and enjoyable place to be.

We strongly encourage anyone interested in working within our school community to look at our vacancies page or alternatively please click the button below to take you to our BWCET centre for teaching website.
